How do I remove cap?
To remove the cap, simply grip the sides of the cap and usbdrive and pull. Do not push on the orange dot, the orange dot is only for aesthetic reasons.

How do I insert the USBDrive?
Insert the drive directly into the USB port, hub, or optionally use USB extension cable

Do I need to install the drivers?
Drivers are required to be installed if using Windows 98SE. No drivers are required if using other operating systems.

Which operating systems are supported for use with a USBDrive?
Supported operating systems include Windows 98SE (drivers provided), ME, 2000, XP (Pro and Home edition), Mac OS 9.2 and above, and also Linux 2.4.17 and above.

What type of files can be stored on a USBDrive?
The USBDrive behaves like any other hard drive, thus supports storage of all file types provided the operating system is compatible.

How do I eject the USB Device?
Close all the files accessed from the USB Device. Click the green icon on the system tray. Click on "Stop USB Mass Storage Device" A window would appear "The USB Mass Storage Device device can now be safely removed from the system." Click "OK" and then unplug the USB Device.
Note: The green icon do not appear on Windows 98SE Operating System. Just make sure no files are open and then remove the USB Device.

My USBDrive feels warm, should I be concerned?
USB 2.0 high speed USBDrives do run significantly hotter than their 1.1 counterparts, this is normal operating temperature for these devices. Reading or writing data to the device will not affect the operating temperature or the operation of the drive.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

I get the message "USBDrive is write protected". What should I do?
Locate the small write protection switch on the back of the USBDrive and position it to the unlock or write selection.

I get the error message "USB Low Power Notice".
The error message results because the USBDrive needs more power than is available. This may be the result when the USBDrive is plugged into the keyboard port or other device such as a usb hub. To correct the problem, try unpluging the device and plug it into a USB port directly on your computer.

If I use a USB Hub, my USBDrive do not get detected in "My Computer".
If a USB hub is used it should be USBIF certified and self-powered, NOT bus powered, this will ensure proper current supply to the drive and help drive getting detected.
