I get a message the device cannot be stopped because a program is still accessing it?
That's usually the case if a DLL or service/thread is using the drive
resources and not yet finished with it. Some times the kernel will not
release the device unless you kill the service that's using the
resources of the drive. E.g., copying and pasting files to USBDrive then
closing the folder/drive window (behind the scene the files have not
been completely copied or released from the File Paging/Swapping service)
therefore you would have to hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete and kill the rundll32 or
explorer.exe or Winword.exe if you just save a word document and got
out.
-
I get the message "The disk drive is not formated." what should I do?
In certain cases the drive may have got corrupted due to improper storing of files

utility available on the CD or you may download it from our website at
http://www.jmtek.com/support.
Note: Formatting the drive will erase all the data on the drive.

disconnect some of the network drives starting from lower letters like E, F or G
and then plug the USBDrive. Once the USBDrive has been detected you may reconnect
the network drives.
-
My system recognizes the USBDrive, but when I look in My Computer I can't find

Check if your Firewall or other security devices are on. Sometimes the firewall may
restrict the drives to be visible in your "My Computer". You can also set the settings
of the firewall to allow access to USB devices.

My USBDrive feels warm, should I be concerned?
USB 2.0 high speed USBDrives do run significantly hotter than their 1.1
counterparts, this is normal operating temperature for these devices.
Reading or writing data to the device will not affect the operating
temperature or the operation of the drive.
